Grace Pavilion Community Outreach is a 501(c)3 organization here in San Antonio. We are planning our annual Back-2- School Drive Thru. This is our 3rd year holding this event and last years’ experience was quite humbling.
Thousands of children start the school year without the proper supplies needed and required by the school districts. In 2020, we were able to provide over 720 back-packs with supplies to Elementary, Middle, and Highschool students in San Antonio. Considering the financial impact of COVID-19 pandemic, we were overwhelmed by the turnout and exhausted supplies in less than two hours. This year, our goal is to reach over 2500 students from Pre-K to 12th grade as we hold our 3rd Back-2- School Drive-Thru on Saturday July 24th in San Antonio, Texas.
To achieve this, we need the support of organizations like yours to donate funds or school supplies. Due to the current COVID 19 pandemics, we have included facemasks, snacks, tech devices, and hand sanitizers to our list. These school supplies will be provided to the students in a Drive Thru form.
