You don’t have to carry it alone

2026 theme: A Year of Positive Growth and Establishment

November 2026

A Heart of Thanksgiving

As our Year of Positive Growth and Establishment draws to a close, we count our blessings on purpose. Gratitude roots us deeper in God and builds our faith for what He will do next.

Scriptures

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Psalm 100:4 (KJV)

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Psalm 103:2-3 (KJV)

Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Colossians 2:7 (KJV)

Prayer points

  1. Family. Father, thank You for every member of my household. Let gratitude replace complaining in our home, and let us honour one another around our table this season.
  2. Health. Lord, You are the God who heals all my diseases. I thank You for life and breath, and I receive strength and sound health in my body and mind.
  3. Spiritual growth. Thank You for every way I have grown this year. Keep me rooted and built up in Christ, established in the faith and abounding with thanksgiving.
  4. Victorious living. Like Paul and Silas, I will praise You in every situation. Let my praise break every chain and open every closed door (Acts 16:25-26).
  5. Our city. Provide for families in San Antonio who are struggling this season, and use our church and outreach to meet real needs with Your love.
